KENDRA BROWN
Kendra was born in Wilmington Delaware and raised by a strong Education First Family. She has been an early childhood educator for over 10 years at Christina Cultural Arts Center. As a member of PACE for the past 6 years, she has been advocating for high quality and equitable education for our brown children education in the city of Wilmington. Our children are our future and Kendra has been working tirelessly to ensure this becomes a reality.

HELEN D. MARTIN
Helen is currently employed within the legal field. As a PACE member with leadership her continued educational learning sets has the stage for advocating awareness. Her passion is in advocating for our children to ensure adequate and structural learning, and having the resources needed to aid family stability and engagement within the educational system. PACE can help aid and facilitate bridging this gap, to increase the quality of education for a better safe, authentic, and structured learning environment with additional supports for all students.

MARY PICKERING
As a native New Yorker, Mary moved to Delaware in 2008 and started involving myself in different areas of community service in 2009. One of these areas is advocating for a quality and equitable education for students that fosters good critical thinking skills to thrive and compete effectively, as adults, in a global market. As a PACE leader, Mary has been very passionate about, and advocates for parent voices, from diverse communities, to be included decision-making when it comes to educating our children. Mary holds a BS in business management, an MBA in Finance, and an EdD in organizational leadership. She retired as of June 2021.
